{"id":93,"date":"2013-05-13T23:07:32","date_gmt":"2013-05-13T23:07:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/caostar.com\/thoughts\/?p=93"},"modified":"2025-02-04T01:41:23","modified_gmt":"2025-02-04T01:41:23","slug":"the-n-dimensional-chaos-sphere","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/caostar.com\/thoughts\/the-n-dimensional-chaos-sphere\/2013\/05\/","title":{"rendered":"The n-dimensional Chaos Sphere"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This idea came to me while I was developing the <a href=\"https:\/\/caostar.com\/thoughts\/a-chaos-sphere-trip\/2013\/05\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chaos Sphere Trip<\/a>. For some reason, the x, y, and z positions got misaligned, and this little beauty appeared on my screen. I was mesmerized for a while, just watching it, until I realized that I had finally understood a vision from an old friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A couple of years ago, a fellow frater came to one of our meetings, excited about a vision he had: a Chaos Sphere with several arrows. He said there were fourteen arrows, but then added, &#8220;That\u2019s just how I see it\u2014actually, it seems to have infinite arrows.&#8221; Inspired by the vision, he couldn\u2019t stop talking about its meaning: &#8220;Freedom in all dimensions, beyond our simple three-dimensional comprehension.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With these words in mind, I believe I am finally clarifying his vision. Back then, it felt like a bit too much to take in all at once. He didn\u2019t have the ability to &#8220;transmit the vision&#8221; clearly, if you know what I mean. But it planted a seed in my mind\u2014a seed that has now blossomed into the n-dimensional Chaos Sphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve been meditating on this for a while now. Since its behavior is entirely shaped by randomness\u2014a &#8220;code coincidence&#8221;\u2014anything that emerges from it can be interpreted in an oracular way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It may look chaotic at first, but, like chaos itself, sometimes it reveals its hidden order, making you feel as though some &#8220;will&#8221; is guiding it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/caostar.com\/3d\/caospheresEntity.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">See for yourself (and then reload the page for a bit of randomness).<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This idea came to me while I was developing the Chaos Sphere Trip.
